What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a one-to-one collaborative partnership which supports you in clarifying what you want in all areas of life. Assessment is made of where you are and what actions you need to take to get to where you want to be. back to top
How does life coaching work?
Coaching works on the basis that deep down everyone has their own answers but need help to discover them. Most people, when asked what they want in their lives, have difficulty knowing the answer. Coaching not only supports to in discovering what you want, it also clarifies your values and the limiting beliefs which can sabotage your success. back to top
What is the difference between therapy and coaching?
Therapy focuses mainly on making connections between past events and how they impact on the present. Coaching is about leaving the past behind and focusing on the future to achieve success in all areas of your life. back to top
What should I bring to wear?
Anam Cara is an informal place, and we suggest that you pack for comfort, with perhaps the odd smart casual item to wear to a restaurant. back to top
What will the weather be like?
Andalusia has the clearest skies in Europe with 300 days of sunshine every year. Most of the time it's very warm, so you need light clothes, shorts and sandals. Make sure you can cover up, including a hat, if the weather is very hot. In spring and autumn it can be cool in the evenings so bring a jumper. Anam Cara is in the mountains so it can be windy. This can be a relief on a very hot day! back to top
What is the food like at Anam Cara?
We offer a range of meals made from fresh wholesome local ingredients, with a variety of dishes. Three evenings we will eat in local restaurants. back to top
What is Spanish food like?
Away from the coast Spanish food is quite varied, with the highlights being good meat, fish and salads. Around Alora you will not get British style food. back to top

Euros, which you can get from your local post office in the UK. back to top
